Cellular / Sponge Rollers

Stiles has provided specialty cellular rubber rollers for product assembly, labeling, tablet sweeping, belt pulleys, conveying, orienting and other applications. We have produced open cell, closed cell and micro cellular foam / sponge rubber rollers with and without cores, for many applications.

Cellular rubber rollers have been fabricated with fabric, skin, solid rubber, and special coatings for specific applications. Layered construction can provide a thin surface layer of outer contact material bonded to a different material or hardness on the base. The outer layer can provide required properties that the base material may not provide such as deflection, cushioning, grip,slip, abrasion resistance or resistance to chemicals in the operating environment.

Our pads, belts, and other parts are fabricated from our stock foam rubber materials which are sourced from around the world.

Our shop has the capability to match custom specifications with ground profiles, tapers, grooves, bevels, contours and release or protective coatings.
